Ujjayi Pranayama (ooh-JAH-yee prah-nah-YAH-mah) is one technique that helps calm the mind and helps both recharge and relax while building internal body heat and removing toxins.


Steps to practice Ujjayi Pranayama

Sitting in a comfortable position, inhale through the nose and lift the chest while slightly contracting your throat. Hold for two seconds while exhaling through the nose, and guide the breath to the back of the throat, creating a deep ocean wave-like sound. Repeat 8-10 times
